Crocheted Teacup Ornament Tutorial

A few years ago my mom received a couple of these
little crocheted teacup ornaments from my great-aunt's
things after she died.  I copied one and wrote out the
instructions for you, in case you need a fun and easy
craft this Christmas season!

  7. Amazing. The things you can do with crochet. I have NO IDEA how to crochet so I will admire your skill from a distance. I wonder how the tea cup will look in gold and white for the Christmas season!

  17. When I was in kindergarten back in the 50's, our Halloween party at school, a little boy was handing out crochet cup/saucers with netting in the cup filled with candy. I was 4, almost 5. I never got one and I told the teacher. She said his grama crocheted them for him to give to all his friends. I was sad I wasn't his friend. After that I loved anything crocheted. My grama taught me to knit when I was in 6th grade. I told her about the cup/saucer. She said that it's crocheted, not knitted. I learned how to crochet when I was 22, haven't stopped since. I'm almost 71.

Thanks for sharing this cute pattern that brought this story back up into my mind after all these years. I just finished mine using crochet thread #10. It's tiny, white with red contrast. I will buy a tiny light to set inside. Again thanks!!
