Lilac Tea

Welcome to tea today!
I picked some more lilacs this morning-
they smell so good!

I've been looking forward to filling this pitcher with lilacs all year.

This teacup was a gift from LA for Christmas one year.
It has violets, not lilacs, but I love it.

I love the paintings of Sandy Clough, and have a couple
of these little plates and a teacup featuring her work.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.
And without faith it is impossible to please God,
because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists
and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:1,6

I am joining Tea Time Tuesday.

  1. I love lilacs and I can't grow them here so I have to enjoy the ones my blogging friends share. Your violet teacup is lovely. How nice to have tea outdoors. Happy Tea Day!

  3. Lovely tea with fragrant lilacs on the bench, and there's room for two.

  4. Hi Carmen,
What a pretty tea with your lilacs! Your teacup is lovely and a wonderful Christmas gift. I don't expect to see lilacs here at least for another month. I like your garden bench too. Thank you for coming to tea and I love that scripture verse.

    Blessings,
    Sandi
