Valentine's Tea

It's Valentine's this week, so here's a little Valentine's tea
to get you in the mood.

Love is very patient and kind, never jealous or envious,
never boastful or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude.

Love does not demand its own way.
It is not irritable or touchy.

It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong.
It is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out.

If you love someone you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost.
You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him,
and always stand your ground in defending him.

There are three things that remain-
faith, hope, and love-
and the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13, TLB

I'm joining Teatime Tuesday today for her Valentine's Tea.

  1. 5 sons to share Valentine's Day with. 5 times the love, and the verses from Corinthians are the definition of true love in all ways. Lovely tea setting.

  3. What a beautiful teapot. I've never seen a handle like that one before. So important to remember those words about love.
